Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Eko Learn or SmartSchool (together, the "Products"), provided on the Lumia OS platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using a Product on behalf of a school, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that school.

2. Eko Learn — free of charge

Eko Learn is provided free of charge to government schools. We reserve the right to determine eligibility for free access and to change the scope of free features with reasonable notice.

3. SmartSchool — paid subscription

SmartSchool is a paid subscription service. Fees are billed per the plan selected at signup, and access may be suspended for accounts with overdue payments after reasonable notice. Pricing is available on our Pricing page and subject to change with notice to active subscribers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Products only for legitimate educational and school administration purposes, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.

5. School data ownership

Schools retain ownership of their student, staff, and academic data. Lumia OS acts as a processor of this data on the school's behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We aim to keep both Products available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to either Product for violation of these terms. Schools may stop using either Product at any time; SmartSchool subscriptions remain billable through the end of the current billing period.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of either Product after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
